These machines deliver a maximum 4000 psi at 18 gallons per minute. The pressure is completely adjustable for any given situation. We maintain a variety of hoses that allow us to hydro-jet anything from a 10" main sewer line all the way down to a 1-1/2" small trap under the sink. We also use Warthog brand rotary nozzle to cut all massive roots. We have many years of experience in specific Hydro-Jetting in Los Angeles and it is truly amazing what a full size trailer jetter with a Warthog rotating nozzle will cut through and flush out all the roots.
Watch how effective Hydro Jetting (Hydro Scrubbing) can blow out a whole raw chicken and a couple heads of cabbage packed in a 4" pipe in this video! Once the hydro jet nozzle is turned on, it actually pulls itself into the pipe. The water pressure leaving the nozzle propels it forward, through the pipe that is not pressured with water. When the water leaves the nozzle, it is traveling at a very high speed. It is the speed, or velocity of the water, that actually does the cleaning or scouring of the pipe debris.
